좋다

1. to be good <-> 나쁘다 to be bad
ex) 좋은 책 = a good book

2. Adjective, to be likable
ex) 네가 좋아 :: Literal translation is ‘You are likeable’ meaning ‘I like you’.
Please note the sentence structure: 네가 (주어, subject) + 좋아 (형용사, adjective)
* 좋다 changes to 좋아

 

좋아하다 Verb, to like

ex) 너를 좋아해 = I like you
* 좋아하다 changes to 좋아해

 

싫다 Adjective, to be unlikable

ex) 네가 싫어 -> Literal translation is ‘You are unlikeable’ meaning ‘I dislike you’.
Please note the sentence structure: 네가 (주어, subject) + 싫어 (형용사, adjective)
* 싫다 changes to 싫어

 

싫어하다 Verb, to late, dislike

ex) 너를 싫어해 = I dislike you / I don’t like you.
* 싫어하다 changes to 싫어해

 

관심 있다 OR 마음 있다 to be interested

ex) 그 사람에게 관심 있어 = I’m interested in that person:
그 사람 + 에게 + 관심 + 있어
‘에게’ is a particle which is used when a subject does action to someone/something.
* 관심 있다 changes to 관심 있어

 

마음이 끌리다 to be attracted

ex) 지용이에게 마음이 끌려 = I’m attracted to Ji Yong.
‘에게’ is a particle which is used when a subject does action to someone/something.
* 끌리다 changes to 끌려
